Bulk materials delivered across Clyde North
Clyde North has been putting up houses faster than almost anywhere in the country, and the gardens follow about a year behind. Nearly every order from 3978 is a first garden on a small lot: turf across the front to meet a developer deadline, a back yard that is currently clay and rubble, and a strip down each side too narrow to be anything but a path.It is the south-eastern corner of Zone 1, next door to Cranbourne on our run. We deliver seven days a week and an order placed before 3pm is usually on the ground the next day — worth knowing when turf is booked for the weekend.
Soil & site conditions
Clyde was grazing and market-garden country on the edge of the old swamp catchment, and the ground reflects it: a heavy grey-brown clay that drains slowly and stays wet well into spring. It is the opposite of neighbouring Cranbourne, where the problem is sand that holds nothing — here the problem is water that will not leave. On a finished lot none of the original profile is at the surface anyway; what you have is compacted fill with builder's rubble through it. Build beds up rather than digging in, and put crushed rock under anything that has to stay firm through winter.Truck access in Clyde North
Lot size is the constraint that shapes every delivery here. Side access is usually a path rather than a gate, so the load lands at the front and everything moves by barrow — worth planning for before you order several cubic metres. The estate streets themselves are wide but busy with trades through the day, kerbs and crossovers are new enough to crack under a loaded tipper, and after rain the unmade ground beside a fresh kerb will not hold a truck. We tip on the road or the driveway apron unless there is a good reason not to.What Clyde North gardens usually order

What access does your truck need?
Our tip truck needs roughly 3.5 m of clear width, firm ground to reverse on and no low branches or wires over the drop point. If the street or driveway is tighter than that, tell us when you order and we will work out the closest safe spot — usually the nature strip or the top of the driveway.
How soon can you deliver?
Orders placed before 3pm are usually delivered the next day, seven days a week — including a Saturday order delivered Sunday. After 3pm, allow two days. Longer regional runs are booked with a confirmed window rather than a next-day promise.
How much fits in one delivery?
One truck load carries up to 8 cubic metres of a single material. Two different materials always travel as two loads, because they cannot share a tray — so a cart with soil and mulch in it is priced as two deliveries.
