Bulk materials delivered across Leopold
Leopold is the gateway to the Bellarine and it has grown accordingly: estate after estate on flat ground along the road out of Geelong, most of it built in the last twenty-five years. The southern edge of the postcode runs down to the Lake Connewarre wetlands, and that low ground behaves quite differently from the rest of the suburb.Leopold is Zone 3, on the Bellarine run out past Geelong. We deliver seven days a week, and because it is a long trip we agree a delivery window when the order is placed rather than promising a particular morning.
Soil & site conditions
Away from the wetland the ground is a heavy grey-brown clay, flat and slow-draining, with the usual compacted fill over it on estate lots. Toward Lake Connewarre it gets lower and wetter and the salt content in the ground rises — plants that struggle inexplicably on the southern edge of Leopold are often telling you about salinity rather than water or feed. On that ground raised beds filled with imported mix are not a preference but the only reliable approach, and crushed rock belongs under anything that has to stay firm through winter. Away from the wetland edge, ordinary raised beds and a decent mulch layer are enough to make the clay workable.Truck access in Leopold
Estate streets here are wide and flat and the deliveries are among the simplest on the Bellarine. The cautions are familiar: newer kerbs and crossovers do not enjoy a loaded tipper, and on the low southern blocks the ground softens badly after rain, so we will use the road or the driveway apron rather than drive onto a verge. The Bellarine Highway through the middle of the postcode is heavy through summer weekends, which is worth avoiding if the drop is close to it.What Leopold gardens usually order

What access does your truck need?
Our tip truck needs roughly 3.5 m of clear width, firm ground to reverse on and no low branches or wires over the drop point. If the street or driveway is tighter than that, tell us when you order and we will work out the closest safe spot — usually the nature strip or the top of the driveway.
How soon can you deliver?
Orders placed before 3pm are usually delivered the next day, seven days a week — including a Saturday order delivered Sunday. After 3pm, allow two days. Longer regional runs are booked with a confirmed window rather than a next-day promise.
How much fits in one delivery?
One truck load carries up to 8 cubic metres of a single material. Two different materials always travel as two loads, because they cannot share a tray — so a cart with soil and mulch in it is priced as two deliveries.
