Bulk materials delivered across Rosebud
Rosebud is a strip of flat sand between the bay and the back of Arthurs Seat, and the gardens divide along that line. Down on the foreshore side it is holiday houses and permanent homes on level sandy blocks; up against the hill the ground rises and everything that falls on it arrives somewhere on the flat below.Rosebud sits in Zone 3, well down the Peninsula. We deliver seven days a week with a confirmed window agreed at the time of ordering, and through the summer holidays the foreshore end of town is worth avoiding altogether if your timing is flexible.
Soil & site conditions
The flat is sand over limestone, free-draining to a fault and holding very little nutrient, so beds need bulk organic matter rather than fertiliser to change how they behave. The complication that is particular to Rosebud is what comes off the hill: run-off from the Arthurs Seat slope crosses the flat on its way to the bay, and the low blocks along those lines can be surprisingly wet in winter despite sitting on sand. Raising beds on that ground and keeping a coarse toppings surface on paths deals with both problems at once. On the higher blocks against the hill the sand drains freely again and the usual coastal rules apply.Truck access in Rosebud
Most of the flat is easy: a grid of level streets with ordinary driveways and room to tip. Two qualifications. Through January the foreshore end of Rosebud carries holiday traffic and camping-ground crowds that make standing a truck near Point Nepean Road slow and difficult. And on the streets climbing toward Arthurs Seat the gradient picks up quickly, with driveways steep enough that we will tip at the top rather than take a loaded truck down. Sandy verges will not carry weight after rain. What Rosebud gardens usually order

What access does your truck need?
Our tip truck needs roughly 3.5 m of clear width, firm ground to reverse on and no low branches or wires over the drop point. If the street or driveway is tighter than that, tell us when you order and we will work out the closest safe spot — usually the nature strip or the top of the driveway.
How soon can you deliver?
Orders placed before 3pm are usually delivered the next day, seven days a week — including a Saturday order delivered Sunday. After 3pm, allow two days. Longer regional runs are booked with a confirmed window rather than a next-day promise.
How much fits in one delivery?
One truck load carries up to 8 cubic metres of a single material. Two different materials always travel as two loads, because they cannot share a tray — so a cart with soil and mulch in it is priced as two deliveries.
